While at a friends in Atlanta Richard met a wonderful Panamanian lady who eventually turned out to be his bride. The two decided to live in Panama, and Richard began to look for business opportunities in his profession as a pastry chef. After several months of searching the two settled in Bouqete, a beautiful mountain town in the west. Bouqete was voted the top place to retire in the western hemisphere by FORTUNE magazine) so its not too remote! Richard opened a bakery called Sugar and Spice is it's going gangbusters!

Although there are several English speaking AA meeting there each week, Richard thought they needed a 12 and 12 study meeting. So the board of the Triangle Club bought 10 Twelve and Twelves and had them sent to Richard for his new meeting! Where ever we are we can focus on carring the message to those in need.
