Fall Festivus 2009

This years Fall Festivus was a great success! There was a short thunderstorm on Friday night. On Saturday we had overcast skies but no rain, and Sunday was simply gorgeous. The temperatures were perfect for this time of year, with nightime lows in the 50's and daytime highs in the 70's. The turnout was estimated to be about 80 people, a few less than we might have liked. The entertainment was, as always, great. Saturday night we served roasted pig, followed by a nice campfire, a sweat lodge and a campfire meeting. The fun and fellowship were everything that one might expect. We welcomed some Festivus newcomers, and enjoyed the fellowship of several old-timers - some of them have been to every event so far.

The Fall Festivus is an event sponsored by the Triangle Club of Atlanta and is held in Suches, Georgia. This year the event will be held on October 9th, 10th, and 11th, 2009, and features camping in a beautiful mountain environment, fishing, zip line, outdoor events, a pig roast and excellent fellowship. It is a FREE event for members who are current with their dues. Family and friends and all others who are not paid members of Triangle Club Inc. are required to pay the normal admission fee to this event.

The admission for non-club members will be $20.00 for the day on Saturday, $30.00 for the entire weekend, and $10.00 for kids. This amount can be applied to your membership. This is tax deductable and helps to support the Triangle Club.

You can make payment with your Paypal account or most major credit cards from this page. Payment is also accepted at the Managers Office during the hours of 10:00am to 4:00pm. Payment will also be accepted at the gate at the event.
